Making appropriations for the payment of certain claims
against the state.
Six. 1. Be it enact(d by the Seniht and House o e presen-

tro ria That the following sums of money be and the same are
hereby appropriated out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated and to be paid to the following
named persons, to-wit:
P Woodson.  To Phillip Woodson, for publishing comptroller's and
treasurer's report for the year 1851, ninety dollars.
Jas Ke).,op.  To James Kelsoc, former jailor of Jackson county, for
victualling state prisoners, two hundred and forty-seven
dollars.
E A Meat.   To E. A. Alead, jailor of Jackson county, for victualling
state prisoners, three hundred and ninety dollars and twenty-
five cents.
o   Jo, non  To Joseph Johnson and N. F. Sparks for apprehending
and N 11 Parm Iensley Patterson, charged with the murder of Jesse Jack-
son, and prosecuting him to conviction, twenty-five dollars
eaci.
To John Warren, for publishing comptroller's and trea-
John warmen. surer's report for the year 1850, forty-two dollars and fifty

Jo James Ml. Evans, of Marshall county, for carrying the
.raarwas.township mnaps of said county to the land ofices in Leb-
anon and Huntsville for correction, by order of the comp-
troller, twenty-fivedollars.
Jaico It OisenTo James Hf. Owen, for five day's services at the capitol,
twventy-five dollars.
A Jordanl.  To Alexander Jordan, for bringing Patrick H. Mourning
a fugitive from justice, from the State of Tennessee to
Marshall county, Ala., upon the requisition of the governor
of this state, fifty dollars.
To Hamlin Caldwell, assignee of Joiner Gentry, former
Scablwell. jailor of Jackson county, for victualling state prisoners,
twenty-five dollars and twenty-five cents.
