To amend An Act entitled An -Act to incorporate the Town of
Warsaw,.jn Sumter county.
Section I. Be it ena cted b . Ihe Senate'and IHuse oj lep-
resintalikes of the State of .labama in Genec-at Assembly
conyvened, Tliat.frori and after the passage of this act, the
Boundaries or boundaries of the incorporation df the town of Walrsaw, in
corporation. Suniter county, shall be as foHows, to' wit: beginning at a point
on the west boundaty line of the' present incorporation, where
the northern inargihtof Union streef interects the said line;
thence westward along the irortlern mnargin of the Toad, which
is a continuation of Union street toitsjunction,,with the Gaines-
ville road, leading through Jamestown; thence southward with
said road to tle section line between section twepty-leight and
thirty-four, and township twenty-three, range two, 'west;
thence eastward with said line to the corner of said section;
thence sounthward on the section line, between section thirty-
three and four, one quarter of.a mile to a stake; thence east-
ward to the southern corner of the present incirporation.
Sec. 2. .4nd be it further enacted, That the laws of the
,aws to have present incorporation-shall have as full force ad effect over the
vtect, go.citizens and property embraced within -the above designated
boundary, as thongh they bad been included within the original
incorporate limits of said towi of Warsaw.
Sc. . And be it further enacled, That the 'intendant and

levy and c). and collect a tax from very 'species of property located withis
ect tax. the porporate limits of said'town, that is subject to taxation by
thpe coupty and State, to an atnount not exceeding that levied
and collected by the county and Stat; and also to levy and
collect a poll tax-from all free white persons, ubjectto laxation,
riot tocxceed one dollar; aldon all free negroes one dollar and
fifty cents; and on all slaves an amount not exceeding that
