sent of two tturds of the citizens of said township and of the
said Henry Hardy, said Commissioners are authorized to receive
back said land, to be d6alt with by them as though the said
contract with said Hardy had never been effected.

For thi relief of Martha Richardson, of Cherokee County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re-
presentatives of the State /' Avlabama, in General #ssen-
6/y convened, That from and after the passage of this act,
Martha Richardson, of the County of Cherokee, shall be capa-
ble in law of taking and holding by purchase, gift, or inheri-
tance, ally property, real or personal, in the same manner and
to the same extent that af/mne sole may do; and the property
so hereafter to be obtained, shall be free from liabilities for, or
on account of debts of her said husband.

For the relief of Louisa Sharpe, of Macon County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Iluseqf Re-
presentatives of te State of Alabana, in General d.vsen-
bly convened, That Louisa Sharpe, wife of William Sharpe, of
mia4g ro  the County of Macon, shall be capable in law of taking and
dcaler.  holding, by gift, purchase, or inheritance, any property, real
or personal,in the same manner, and to the same extent that
a feme sole may do; and the property so hereafter to be ob-
tained shall be free from liabilities, for, or on account of the
debts of her said husband.
