To incorporate the Town of Pickensville, in the County of
Pickens.
Section. 1. Be ii enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
tivet of the State of Alabama in Gtewral Assembly convened,
That all that tract of land lying in the county aforesaid, includ-
Limiis a( ed in the folloving limits, Viz: one quarter of a mile east, one
Incorporation quarter of a mile west, one quarter north, and one quarter
of a mile south, from the centre of Broad street, and at the
pdint where said street is intersected by Main street, in said
Town of Pickensville, be, and the same ishereby incorporated5
under the corporation of the Town of Pickensville.
Sec. 2, wind be it further enacted, That on the first Moti-
day in February next, an annually thereafter, between the

quent election shall, from any cause, fail to be held, it shall be

ceeding election, it shall be the duty of the Mayor, or mana-
gers, to cause an election to be held at any time, not exceeding
one month after the first of February, notice having been giv-
en of the time and place of holding such election, in the man-
tier and form set forth in the following section.
Sec. .3. .And be it further enacted, That the first elec-

three, as the Mayor and Council shall appoint, who shall give

the Mayor and Council respectively, before entering on the
