For the relief of James M. Young.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rep-
resentatives qf the State qf ./labama in General Aissembly
convened, That the returns made by James M. Young, late tax
collector of the county of Tpllapoosa, to the Commissioners'
Court if Roads and Revenue as tax collector of said county, be
held as a (good and sufficient return in law, so far as the same
has been made in good faith, and without default, any law to the
contrary notwithstanding.

To authorize Alexander White, Administrator, and- Sarah White, Administratrix,
of John White, deceased, to dispose of so much of the Real Estate of whiichli the
said John White did seized, as shall be sulicient to discharge the debts of the
said Estate.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
tives of the State of .1abamn in General Assembly convened, That
it shall, and may be lawful for Alexander White, administrator,
Stay sell real and Sarah White, administratrix, of the estate of John White,
estate.   deceased, to dispose of so much of the real estate of which the
said John White died seized, as shall be sufficient in valie to
satisfy the debts due from the said estate, upon the conditions.

Sec. 2. A2nd be it further enacted, That before disposing of
any of the real estate aforesaid, the said administrator and admin-
istratrix shall return to, and file in the Orphans' Court of Talla-
Schedule to dega county, a sworn schedule, setting forth the amount, number
be filed.  and descriptions of all debts due from said estate within their
knowledge, together with the probable value of available assets.
belonging to the same, exclusive of land and negro property;.
and shall give bond,, to be approved by the Judge of the Court
aforesaid, in a penalty of twice the estimated value of the real
estate proposed to be sold, conditioned to return to said Court, a
correct account of sales, and to pay and appropriate the proceeds
of such sale, first, to the extinguishment of the liabilities of said
estate, and if any surplus, to distribute it among the heirs and
distributees of said estate, according to law.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That upon complying with
Real estate to the provisions of the second section of this act, it shall be lawful
te sold,and for the said administratur and administratrix to advertise and sell
title made,  such real estate, upon such terms as they, in their discretion,
may prescribe, the proceeds to be applied as aforesaid; and the
said administrator and administratrix are authorized to make to
the purchaser or purchasers, at such sale, good and sufficient
