For the relief of certain persons therein named.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
lives of the State of .Alabama in General Assembly convened, That
the following sums of money, be, and they are hereby appropri-
ated to the following persons respectively, that is to say:
To Ed ward l  Vaughan, the sum of nit. hundred dollars, the  '
assessed value of a negro slave name(] Jack, the property of the V authui.

to law:
To Jesse Carter, the sum of six hundred dollars, the assessed
value of a negro slave named Biddy, condemned and executed Jesse Qarter.

To William W. Smith, administrator of the goods and chat- wittimto W.
tels, Iights and credits of Francis 1. Smith, deceased, the sum ith.
of one hundred dollars, the portion of the assessed value of
a slave named Isane, the property of said administrator, which
was allowed to said administrator by the jury, the said slave
having been condemned and executed eccoriling to law:
To Hull and Files, the suin of five hundred dollars, being one utllandfiles
half of the assessed value of a slave named George, who was
condemned and executed according to law:
To ames M   1.Murray, the sum of seven hundred (lollars, the.Imen e.
asessel value of a slave named Bob, condemned and executed Murray.

Sec. 2. .11ad be it further enacted, That the said several
sums of money shall be paid to the said several persons repece-
tiv ely, out of any moneys in the Treasury, not otherwise ap-
propriated.

To compensate Daniel M. Forney.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
lives of the State of .Alabma in General Assenmbly convened, That
the sum  of five hundred dollars be paid Daniel M. Forney,
for a house purchased by the State for a State Arsenal.
Sec. 2. .Ad be it firther enacted, That the Comptroller be
authorized to draw his warrant on the treasurer, for the above
amount in favor of said Daniel M. Forney.
