Sac. 2. Anl brit firter enacted, That the several amounts ap-
propriated in the foregoing section for books and stationery for the
use of chancery courts or the Register thereof, shall be paid out of
the county treasury of the county in which the chancery court is
held and not out of the State Treasury, any thing in the foregoing
act to the contrary notwithstanding

[No. 145.1                  AN ACT
Making appropriationa for the payment of certain claims against the State.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House uf Representa-
tives of the State of Alabama in General Assembly convened, That
the Comptroller of Public Ancounts, be, and he is hereby required
to issue his warrants on the Treasurer in favor of the following per-
sons, for the amounts hereinafter specified, to be paid out of any money
in die Treasury not otherwise approprinted, viz: in favor of Joseph i v Peren
W. Pearce, the sum of eight dollars, for setting two grates in Scere-
tary's Oflice; in favor of A. 11. Thomas, Doorkeeper o' the Semate, A aThoinas
the sum of ten dollars, for fel flirnished the present General Assent-
bly; in favor of Augustin Lynch, the sum of seventy-one dollars and A Lyneh
cight cents for f irniture, kc. furnished the present General Assem-
bly; in favor of W. M. Lucy, the sum of forty-one dollars, for candles v S Lacy
furnished for the use of the present General Assembly; in favor of 11. I Perkius
Perkins, the sum11 of eight dollars, for making one new grate for Se-
cretary of the Senate's room; in favor of Willinan Kain, the sum 'olim Kain
filly dollars, for prosecuting William Rite, to conviction for horse steal-
ing; in favor of Blenjamiun C. Yancy, Register of the Chancery Court   c Yaney
at Cahawba, for the third district, the sumu of sixty-two dollars, for
blank books furnished said ollice; i- favor of Joel White, the sui of J lwiii
twenty-two hundred and eighty-four dollars and twenty-two cents,
for books and stationery liurnished the General Assembly, Chancery
Courts, Supreme Court, and other officers of the State.
