SECTION 1. iBe it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the State of Alabanrt in General Assembly convened, That in accordance
with the decrce of the circuit court of Madison county, exercising chancery
Jurisdiction, pronounced and -itered at the fall term of said court, eighteen
hundred and thirty.seven, the bonds of matrimony heretofore solemnized, and
subsisting between John J. Coleman and Emiline R. Coleman, his wife, be,
and the same are hereby annulled and made void; and that the said John J.
Coleman, he henceforth divorced from the said Emiline R. Coleman; and that
the said John J. Coleman, be restored to all the rights and privileges of an un.

one halfof the value of a slave named Jim; and a warrant in favor of Samuel
AL. Meek, fr tlo sum of eight humidred and thirty-threeodollars and tlirty.thrce
cents, it being one halfof the value oftwo slaves unned Abraham and Reuben,
who were all executed in pursuanco ofa soutenco of the county court of Tus-

SrcnrioN 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen.
tatives of the Stale o/ .labama in General Assembly convened,
That hereafter it shall not he lawful for the judge of the county court
and commissioners of roads and revenue of the county of St. Clair,
and State of Alabama, to appropriate a larger sum than fifty dollars
each, to the sheriff an I clerk of the county court of said county, for
their ex-qficio services.
See. 2. A9nd be it further enacted, That all laws and parts of
laws contravening the provisions of the foregoing act, are hereby re-
pealed, so far as relates to the county of St. Clair.
