See. 2. And be it further enacted, That the president and
directors of said rail road company, shall have the right to open
books for an increased subscrip-on to the stock of said rail road,
for the sum of one hundred thousand dollars, at such times and
places as they may think proper, giving at least thirty days no.

Sec. 3. Ind be it further enacted, That said company
shall commence said road in five years, and complete the same
in ten years, or forfeit their charter.
See. 4. And be it further enacted, That the said president
and directors of said rail road company, shall have the right to
continue said rail road on the south side of the Tennessee river,
until it intersects the Tascumbia, Courtland and Decatur rail
road, at any point on said road between Courtland and Decatur,
as they shall deem most expedient. Provided, that a sifficient
,amount of stock shall have been subscribed to complete the
same, payable in such instalments, as said president and direc-
tors may from time to time call for, under the charter to which
this is an amendment.      Approved, January 10, 1835.

Authorizing George P. Wright, a free man of color, to keep a grist mill on the west
side of the 'ombeckhee river.
WHEiREAS, the said George P. Wright has erected a floating rreasbble.
grist mill o. the west side of thc Toibeckbee river, between
the town of (ainesville, Sumter county, and the mouth of
the Oak Noxabue river; and the said Wright having the said
mill in complete operation. Therefore,
Sectioi 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re-
presentatives of the State of ./1abama in General./ssembly
convened, That from and after the passage of this act, the said. Enating
George P. Wright is hereby authorized io keep in operation the
said mill at the said point aforesaid.
Sec. 2. And he it further enacted, That if the said mill Not obstruct
should obstruct the navigation of the said Tombeckbee river in navigation.

ed as a public nuisance.
