Sea. 2. And be it further enacted, That the sum of one hun-
dred dollars be, and is hereby appropriated to the payment of the s  alerk o
Secretary of the Senate, for completing the journal and ar- Ouse Of RePre
ranging the papers of the Senate; and the sum of one hundred
dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated to the payment of
the Clerk ofthe House ofRepresentatives for completing the jour-
nal and arranging the papers of the House of Representatives.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the sum of two hun-  'yorsaw
dred and seventy-five dollars be, and the same is hereby appropri-
ated for the payment of the Secretary of State, for copying and
making an index to the laws, for copying the journal of each
house of the General Assembly for the present session, preparing
the whole for the press, and superintending the priming thereof.
Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That the sum of two hun- conperou
dred and fifty dollars be, and the same is hereby appropriated to
the Comptroller of Public Accounts, as payment of clerk hire in
his office for the past year.
Sec. 5. And be itfirther enacted, That the sum of two thou- swe rranters
sand five hundred dollars be, and the same is hereby appropri-
ated to the payment of the annual salary of the State Printers for
the present year.               Approved, January 21, 1832.
AN ACT making Appropriations for certain Claims against the State.
Section I. Be it enacted b y the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the State of Alabama in General Assembly convened,
That the following sums be, and they are hereby appropriated
for the payment of certain persons herein named, for furnishing
provisions for persons confined in the jails of their respective
counties, and for moving persons by order of court, to wit:   for
William Howson, jailor of Madison county, forty-four dollars; wm. nowfon
to M. F. Rany, sheriff of Greene county, two hundred and sixty- 7u. F. liany
three dollars and seventy-five cents ; to Aaron Redus, jailor of Aaron neadn
Limestone county, two hundred and nineteen dollars; to D. C.
Frazier, sheriffof St Clair county, sixty dollars and eighty cents; D. c. Frazier
to Anderson West, jailor of Perry county, one hundred dollars; Anderson West
to William Lee, sheriff of Conecuh county, nine dollars; to Jesse viluamii i.o
Edwards, sheriff of St Clair, thirty-one dollars;' to Henry Nor- Jesse Edwards
wood, sheriff of Jackson county, three hundred and fifty dollars; henry Norwood
to Joseph Hall, sheriff of Baldwin county, fifty-two dollars and Joseph Hall
sixty cents; to Jesse Doyle, sheriff of Clarke county, twenty-nine Jesse Doyl
dollars and forty cents; to Duncan M'Clain, sheriff of Autauga Duncan w'Clain
