AN ACT
To furnish each Commissioner of Revenue and Roads with the Statutes of
1ti Strte.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen-
tatives of the State of Alabama in General Assembly convened,
That it shall be the duty of the Secretary of State to Secretary of
cause to be furnished to each of the Judges of the several state requir.

County Courts in this State, four copies of the digest of the busteo Diget,
statutes, and a like number of copies of each subsequent ses- and session

his county, on the same terms, and in the same manner, as
the statutes are delivered to, and received by justices of the

.1ndprovided further, that if there be not a sufficient number
of copics on hand, or in the hands of the agents of the dif-
ferent counties to supply said commissioners, the Secretary
shall cause them to be distributed as nearly equal as he can
to the different counties.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That if any clerk of a  clerks of

Section 1. Be it enacted bU the Senate and Ifouse of Represen-
tatives of the S'tate of Alabiama in General Assembly convened,
That said Randle Jackson be, and he is hereby authorized to
sell a certain negro man named Stephen, the property of his
said ward, in such manner, and on such terms as he may deem
best calculated to benefit his said ward.
Sec. 2. Be itfurther enacted, That said guardian shall have
authority to lay out the money arising from the sale of said
slave, in the purchase of another slave or slaves, for his ward,
if he deems it advisable to do so, for the best interest of said
ward.                           Appioved, January 15, 1831.
