Authorizing Augustus Baudry to emancipate a certain slave therein nomed.
Sec. I. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the State of Alabama, in General .Asembly
convened, That Augustus Ilaudry of the county of Tuskaloo.
sa be authorized and empowered to emancipate a certain
male slave named Gaditith, about thirty years of age.
Sec. 2. .ad be it further enacted, That the foregoing au*
thority is granted, on the condition, only, that the aforesaid
Augustus taudry shall be required to execute his bond with
good and suflicient security, made payable to the Judge of COaitione

in such sum as the said Judge shall require; conditioned,
that the aforesaid slave Gadstith shall never become
chargeable to the state of Alabama, or any county or town
thereof, and that the rights and remedies of any creditor or

however, that the said slave Gadstith shall remove beyond Provi,
the limits of this state, within twelve months after his e-
mancipatiun, and shall not return to reside therein.

AN ACT
For the relief of Robert Coyle.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
tives of the State of .labama, in General Assembly convened, That
the Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to issue his
warrant on the Treasurer of this State, in favor of Rot-ert Coyle,
for the sum of one hundred and seventy-nine dollars, it being al-
lowed said said Coyle for apprehending and lodging in Franklin
Jail, John Lovin, (alias Lovell) who had escaped from said Jail,
where he had been confined and charged with murdering two
women in the year eighteen hundred and eighteen.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Represen.
tatives of the State of Alabama, in General Assembly convened, That
David White be, and he is hereby, authorized to surrender, lot
number one hundred and thirty-four, and he he, and is hereby,
authorized to have credit on lot number one, for two hundred
and fifty dollars, both of whieh lots are lying and being in the
town of Cahawba; and that the Secretary of State, be authori.
zed to admit a credit on the lot number one, for that amount,

improvements on said lot, number one hundred and thirty-four.
