The board of trustees of the state employees retirement system may invest the funds
of the system in common stock of any corporation organized under the laws of the
United States.or of any state subject to the prudent man rule regarding investments
by trustees.

Circuit clerks in third class counties are entitled to additional compensation pro-
vided by Senate Bill 288, 71st General Assembly (Sec. 483.331 Cum. Supp. 1961).
Magistrates are entitled to the increased compensation provided by House Bill 281,
71st General Assembly (See. 482.250 Cum. Supp. 1961). Clerks, deputies and employeeL
may be paid within the total amounts authorized by.House Bill 462, 71st General
Assembly (Sec. 473.490 Cum. Supp. 1961). Coroners of third and fourth class counties
are not entitled during their terms of office to the increased compensation or mile-
age payment provided in House Bill 533, 71st General Assembly (Secs. 58.110 and
58.120 Cum. Supp. 1961). Township assessors of third and fourth class counties are
not entitled to increased fees provided by House Bill 204, 71st General Assembly
(Sec. 65.240 Cum. Supp. 1961).during their present terms of office. Sheriffs in
third class counties are entitled to the increased mileage allowances provided by
Senate Bill 173, 71st General Assembly (Sec. 57.430 Cum. Supp. 1961).

An agreement among retail filling stations to fix the price at which gasoline will be
sold at each of such stations violates the anti-trust laws of Missouri contained in
Chap. 416 RSMo 1959.

When voting machines are used in a primary election, the names of candidates for any
one office must be listed in regular sequence in order of filing in a single column.
Election officials have no authority to rotate the names of such candidates. The
board of election commissioners has no authority to promulgate a rule fixing a date
before which such declarations of candidacy will not be accepted and providing forde-
tPAM~n.-by lot the order of filing of declarations filed before such date.
