This farewell is unlike the others in the many years since Whittier Law Review's inception. This year, we say our final farewell. A publication like Whittier Law Review is filled with the blood, sweat, and tears of junior staffers, senior staffers, and the executive board. Anyone who has experienced the rite of passage that is Whittier Law Review understands the commitment and sacrifice involved. But, without our loyal readers and authors our work would be an exercise in futility. We thank each of you for giving us the opportunity to provide you with a legal publication and for trusting us to do so. As an ode to the current and former members of Whittier Law Review, we dedicate this publication to you. From the late nights cite checking an obscure statute from the early 1900s to the early mornings driving to distant legal libraries hoping to find that newspaper article from a random small town, we thank you. Without you sacrificing those long nights and early mornings this publication would not have happened, let alone flourished. We dedicate this final publication to you. Again, thank you to every single person who contributed, read, or appreciated our beloved publication. It is with a heavy heart that we say thank you and farewell.
