Message from the Chairman
This past year the Section conducted a successful conference on
part-time legal education in San Antonio, Texas and a most productive
workshop for law school deans at the Mid-Year Meeting in Cleveland,
Ohio.
We also saw the efforts by so many dedicated lawyers, deans
and professors culminate in the adoption by the House of Delegates on
February 12, 1973 of the new Standards and Rules of Procedure for the
approval of law schools by the American Bar Association.
The Annual Meeting of the Section will be held Tuesday, August 7,
1973, in the Monroe Suite of the Washington Hilton Hotel, Washington, DC.
Details can be found elsewhere in this newsletter. I hope all Section
members will make a special effort to attend what promises to be an out-
standing program.
