Views expressed in the articles or notes published in the Southern California
Interdisciplinary Law Journal are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the
policies or opinions of the Journal, its editors and staff, or the University of Southern
California.
Submissions
The Journal is pleased to consider for publication articles that analyze legal issues from
the perspective of other scholarly disciplines. Authors are thus invited to send such
manuscripts to the Journal's Submissions Editors at the address listed below. Submissions are
also welcomed electronically via e-mail or Scholastica; see our web page for electronic
submission information.
The text and citations of such submissions should generally conform to the most recent
editions of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation and The Chicago Manual of Style.
However, the Journal recognizes that authors specializing in other disciplines are often
unfamiliar with the system of legal citation espoused by The Bluebook, and articles will be
edited to ensure conformance if accepted. In addition, the Journal endorses a policy of gender
neutrality in legal scholarship and may revise an article to use gender-specific language in
accordance with this policy. Use of gender-neutral language in articles published by the
Journal reflects support of this policy and is not necessarily indicative of the authors' policies
or opinions. Unfortunately, submissions cannot be returned unless postage is provided.
Subscriptions
The Journal is published three to four times annually. Subscriptions are $25.00 per year
($34.00 for international subscriptions). The current issue of the Journal is also available for
$12.50 per copy. Please note that subscriptions are automatically renewed unless notice of
cancellation is received prior to renewal. Also note that claims for non-receipt of issues must
be made within six months of the mailing date, or the issue cannot be resent free of charge.
Any correspondence regarding subscriptions or single-issue purchases, including change of
address information, should be addressed to the Journal's Business Manager at the address
listed below.
