                 GENERAL INFORMATION

    The  Santa Clara Law  Review invites the submission of articles of legal
merit. Manuscripts should be sent to Santa Clara Law Review, Senior Articles
Editor, Santa Clara University, 500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, California
95053-0426, or submitted via e-mail to lawreview@scu.edu.

    A  Microsoft Word copy  of the manuscript should be  submitted, typed
with wide margins and  double spaced. The Santa Clara Law  Review follows
generally The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed. 2020), and the
Dictionary of Legal Abbreviations Used in American Law Books (compiled by
Doris M. Bieber 1979). A Microsoft Word document, Version 2010 compatible
or higher, of the text and footnotes would be greatly appreciated. The Santa
Clara Law  Review assumes  no responsibility for the return of any material.
Manuscripts will be accepted with the understanding that their content has not
been published elsewhere.

    Except as otherwise expressly provided herein, the author or authors of
each article, empirical analysis, essay, note, and book review in this publication
has granted permission for copies of that work to be reproduced for classroom
use in a nationally accredited law school, provided that: (1) copies are distrib-
uted at or below cost of reproduction; (2) the author and the journal are identi-
fied; (3) proper notice of copyright is affixed to each copy; and (4) the journal is
notified of each use. Where the Santa Clara Law Review grants permission to
third parties for such use, the author or authors shall be notified.

    The views expressed in this periodical are to be attributed to the authors
and not to the Santa Clara Law Review, its editors, or Santa Clara University.
