Cryptocurrencies  in Insolvency
  In our lead article, Cryptocurrencies in Insolvency: Evasive Reality, Polina
Lyadnova,  Ekaterina Dorokhova, and  Hannah  Whitney,  of Cleary Gottlieb
Steen &  Hamilton  LLP, consider the current legal situation and outlook for
cryptocurrencies in both Russia and the UK, which, more broadly, may reveal
interesting and important differences between the approaches towards crypto-
currencies in civil law and common law jurisdictions.
A  $1.2 Billion Judgment
  In Crystallex International Corporation v. Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the
U.S.  District Court for the District of Delaware has issued an order and
supporting  opinion allowing a judgment  creditor holding a  $1.2 billion
judgment  against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to attach common stock
owned  by Petr6leos de Venezuela, S.A., the national oil company of Venezuela.
