Elle enseigne le droit consti- tutionnel au Programme de common law en franqais h l'Universitd d'Ottawa depuis 1988. De plus, la professeure Jackman est la co-pr4sidente de l'Asso- ciation nationale Femmes et Droit et une ancienne membre du Conseil de direc- tion des Fonds d'action et d'4ducation juridiques pour les femmes (FAEJ) ainsi que du Comit4 des droits h l'4galit4 du Programme de contestation judiciaire. En 2007, on lui a d4cern4 la m4daille du Barreau du Haut-Canada; en 2015 elle a m4rit4 le prix <<Les assises>> de l'Association du Barreau canadien; et en 2017 elle a 4t4 4lue membre de la Soci4t4 royale du Canada. Le 29 mai 2018, Taylor Wormington, r4dacteur en chef des articles en fran- qais de la Revue de droit d'Ottawa, s'est entretenu avec la professeure Jackman pour discuter du droit h l'alimentation au Canada. Selon la professeure Jackman, ce droit serait enchass4 dans l'article 7 de la Charte canadienne des droits et libert~s. PROFESSOR MARTHA JACKMAN is a spe- cialist in Canadian Constitutional Law and dedicates a major portion of her research to study issues relating to women and other marginalized groups. She has taught Constitutional Law in the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa since 1988. In addi- tion, Professor Jackman is the Co-chair of the National Association of Women and the Law and is a former member of the Board of the Women's Legal Edu- cation and Action Fund (LEAF) and of the Equality Rights Panel of the Court Challenges Program. In 2007, she was awarded the Law Society of Upper Can- ada Medal; in 2015 she was the recipi- ent of the Canadian Bar Association's Touchstone Award; and in 2017 she was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. On May 291h, 2018, Taylor Worming- ton, Editor-in-Chief of the Ottawa Law Review's French language articles, met with Professor Jackman to discuss the right to food in Canada. According to Professor Jackman, this right is pro- tected under section 7 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
