It. rim ed.cu) RESUMEN El presente trabajo es resultado del proyecto de investigaci6n Clio Didactica: la ensehanza de la Historia en la escuela, cuyo objetivo es perfeccionar el proceso de ensehanza-aprendizaje de la Historia en todas las educaciones. Particulariza en la Historia Universal e Historia de Cuba que se imparte en la Secundaria Basica y en las universidades pedag6gicas. Tiene como objetivo ofrecer a los profesores y estudiantes algunas consideraciones sobre la necesidad y posibilidad de utilizar el enfoque de g6nero para el conocimiento de la Historia, por Io cual, cumple con el reclamo de la sociedad, de justicia y equidad, a la vez que posibilita a los educandos comprender que tanto hombres como mujeres han contribuido al desarrollo social. PALABRAS CLAVES: Historia, educaci6n en g6nero, historiografia, Historia Total ABSTRACT This work is the result of the project of investigation Clio didactics: the teaching of History at school, which objective is to perfect the teaching-learning process of History in all the educational levels. It particularizes in the Universal History and on the History of Cuba that is taught in Junior High School. It has as objective to offer teachers and students some considerations about the necessity and the possibility of using a gender focus on knowledge of history, fulfilling the demand of the society of justice and at the same time it facilitates learners to understand that men and women have contributed to the social development.
