For 1895. age Special pains will be taken to make The Law 3 Student's Helper for 1895 entertaining and in- structive. We propose to make it the best young 4 men's paper in America. Broadly speaking, its 5 aim will be instruction in the line of law and 6 good government. It is intended that there be enough of technical instruction in it to suit the 8 needs of the law student, and enough of the non- technical to suit the general reader. The paper 15 has met with a generous reception, and we are 16 encouraged to make it the very best publication A of its kind that has ever been produced. Sugges- 17 tions from our readers will be welcomed, and contributions of merit will be accepted and paid for. News items from the law schools and law stu- dents' societies are especially solicited, and pub- lishers are invited to make use of our columns to announce new books and new editions of old ones. Questions bearing upon the study of law will be given careful attention, and answered at as early date as possible through its columns. We are welcoming hundreds of new subscribers at this time of the year, and we promise for them much satisfaction and profit from our acquaint- ance during 1895. We are glad to chronicle the fact that of the 4,000 subscribers whose subscrip- tions expired with the month of December very few have discontinued. This fact, in view of the further fact that the 1894 Law Student's Helper did not suit its publishers, augurs well for the fu- ture. VOL. III.
