2 Judge Signs Off on Dismissal of LSU-Chavis
    Litigation
 The two sides in the litigation over a coachs departurefrom one
 school to another have reached a settlement after a Louisiana
 judge signed a joint motion to dismiss.

 3  Inside the NCAA's Doping Appeals Process-
    Amani Elijah Bledsoe v. NCAA
 On August 24, 2017, Amani Elijah Bledsoe, a defensive line-
 man for the University of Oklahoma, filed a lawsuit in Okla-
 homa state court against the NCAA, challenging the denial of
 his NCAA doping appeal.' The lawsuit asks for a findingfrom
 the court in the form of a declaratory judgment that the NCAA
 wrongly denied Mr. Bledsoes internal doping appeal by violating
 his substantive and procedural due process rights under Oklaho-
 ma law. Mr. Bledsoe also sought an injunction to permit him to
 play the first 4 games of the 2017 season. In his complaint, Mr.
 Bledsoe claims his name and reputation has been forever im-
 pugned because of the NCAAs actions and that his draft status
for the NFL will be affected by the NCAA s denial of his rights.
The NCAA filed a motion to dismiss Mr. Bledsoes complaint. A
hearing has been scheduled for November 20th. Since the court
did not grant the injunction sought by Mr. Bledsoe he will be
forced to finish out his 1-year suspension, which ends on October
4,2017.

4 NAIA to Relocate 2018 Division II Men's
    National Basketball Championship Because of
    Anthem Position
 The NationalAssociation of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)
 and the College of the Ozarks have agreed to relocate the 2018
 NAA DII Mens Basketball Championship, which was sched-
 uled to take place in Branson, Mo. A new location has yet to be
 determined.

 5 Anonymous OCR Title IX Complaint Alleges
    Anti-Male Bias in Occidental College Athletics
Like so many small college football teams, the Occidental Tigers
have a storied past that dates back more than a century. The
sport took root at the campus just north ofLos Angeles in 1895
at a time when neighboring schools played one another.

    Player Sues
Former University ofNotre Dame football player, Douglas
Randolph, is suing the school, Head Coach Brian Kelly, and
a multitude of other defendants, alleging negligence and other
related claims stemmingfrom to a failure to disclose results ofan
MR[ he underwent in 2015following afootball-related injury.
