Associate Dean Ken Rosenblum:
Good Evening. I am Touro Law Center Associate Dean for
Students Affairs Ken Rosenblum. On behalf of Dean Howard Glickstein
and the entire Touro Law Center family I would like to welcome you to
this timely and important program. I would also like to thank the Insti-
tute of Jewish Law and its Director, Dr. Chaim Povarsky, and the Law
Center's Jewish Programs Committee, chaired by Professor Ilene
Barshay, for their efforts in bringing this program together. I would
also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Lillie Goldstein Charitable
Trust, whose financial support helped make this program possible.
We are very honored to have with us tonight the distinguished
scholar Rabbi Professor Moses Tendler of Yeshiva University. Another
