JOURNAL OF RACE, GENDER & POVERTY VOLUME XIV
                        CONSTITUTIONAL SCHIZOPHRENIA:
Don't Believe the Anomaly, Ramos is an Illusion!

Imagine this, after weeks of cross-examinations, motions, and objections, you are sitting

before a judge and twelve jurors, awaiting results that will ultimately determine your fate--and life.

Twelve strangers have formulated an opinion about facts in your case, ten of which have

determined your guilt. Coincidentally, the two who voted in the minority, not believing the

the remainder of his life in prison due to the incomplete ruling of Ramos.3

the public's agenda shifts, the judicial framework subsequently adapts to the needs and social

priorities of the times. This contributes to inconsistent rulings, judgments, and opinions as a matter
