2   Hawaii-Manoa Men's Basketball Banned From
    Post Season   by NCAA   COI
    The NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions (COI')
    issued its Public Infractions Decision against the University of
    Hawaii, Manoa (Hawaii') over the winter, issuing a post-
    season ban and several show cause orders.

3   Who  Guards   the Guardians?   Todd  McNair  v.
    NCAA   Resumed
    The Court ofAppeal' (CoA') factual summary runs from
    page two to eleven (Todd McNair v. NCAA, Court ofAppeal,
    Second Appellate District, Case No. B245475, (December
    7, 2015). The NCAA consists of 1,200 educational institu-
    tions, and the schools, their employees, athletes and alumni are
    required to comply with NCAA rules. The opinion is silent as
    to whether NCAA officials must obey NCAA rules, though it
    appears to be otherwise.

    A federal judge from the Central District of Calfornia has
    granted summary judgment to the operator ofthe Website ofthe
    University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) athletic department in
    a case in which a student athlete claimed that the operator did
    not own his publicity rights.
