Dean Urges Canons Revision.

Dean Erwin N. Griswold appeared before
NBC television cameras last week to tape
his views on the problem of guaranteeing a
fair trial to criminal defendants.
The Dean's remarks will be aired on an
NBC White Paper at 9:00 p.m., Tuesday,
Feb. 9. The Lee Harvey Oswald incidents of
the fall of 1963 will provide a dramatic take-
off for the program. Dean Griswold has said
that by Nov. 24 Oswald could not have
obtained a fair trial any place in the United
States.
The threat to the citizen's right to a fair
trial comes in part from the activities of the
