Griswold will formally greet more than 500 members of the first-year class at 4 P. M. Sunday in the Ames Court Room in Austin Hall. Early this week, the School had 544 acceptances for the class, including twenty-three women. Admissions Director Louis A. Toepfer said he expected last minute withdrawals to cut the total to about 535. This is just about the right size, he said. Last year's class began with 558. Registration for the first-year students will be held today in the Langdell Library. Persons with surnames begin- ning with the letters A to K will register between 10 A. M. and noon. Those with names L to Z will register between 2 and 4 P. M. Dean Griswold Review Staff Named New York City area residents with Ivy League backgrounds dominate the list of twenty-five second-year students selected for the Harvard Law Review as a result of their ranking at the top of their class. Eleven of the twenty-five come from the New York metropolitan area, and ten of the eleven attended Ivy League schools. The eleven New York City area residents chosen were Michael Boudin, New York and Harvard; Owen M. Fiss, New York and Dartmouth; Stanley N. Futterman, Brooklyn and Columbia; Albert S. Pergam, Flushing and Yale; Stuart P. Posner, New York and (Continued on next page) Third-year students will register Monday between 10 A. M. and noon, or 2 and 4 P. M. Second-year students will register during the same hours Tuesday. Upperclassmen may register during either of the two sessions, regardless of last name. Following Dean Griswold's opening ad- dress Sunday, the class is invited to a recep- tion and roast beef dinner at Harkness Commons.
