  Records Management Then-An unknown photographer captured these Treasury Department employees at sea in agency records in the year
1914. The Archives preserved the photo and is using.it as the capstone of its current exhibit, Stars and Gripes Forever; the Lighter Side of the
Bureaucracy. The exhibit runs through January. Today the Archives offers assistance in records management to federal agencies.

  mation Act. Life after FOIA, agencies
  say, often results in placing priority
  on both current methods of record
  management and long range planning
  for record storage and disposition.

  Service (NARS), now headed by Ar-
  chivist of the United States Robert M.
