Vol. IV, No. I September 1962

OUR NEW CHAIRMAN COMMENTS
At the beginning of our 5th year at last it is
apparent that this young section is walking,
running, and sometimes jumping--we have ma-
tured well beyond the crawling stage. Deserved
plaudits go to the immediate Past Chairman,
Carl F. Ingraham, for a most successful Annual
Convention in San Francisco. The program was
excellent. We are greatly appreciative of the
work done by the committee chairmen and all
the participants.
Please note the new list of committee chair-
men appearing in this issue and note also those
who have moved up to the Council and into the
executive officer group. You will observe that
we now have a new office, i. e. , Chairman-
Elect. This is in conformity with the recently
amended by-laws which became effective during
our annual meeting.
We have a great deal of work ahead--the
Little Rock, Arkansas meeting November 8, 9
and 10, 1962, will be our next program geared
to the bread and butter aspects of our practice.
You will find the tentative program set out in
this issue.
Since your former editor of this publication
now has greatly increased burdens of the office
of Chairman, the task of producing this news-
letter has been placed in the very capable hands
of Charles E. Sproger of Chicago. I trust you
will give him your support and help by sending
news and case materials to him at the address
shown.
