For those of you familiar with eLaw you may notice a couple of changes. The first is that the Journal will be published bi-annually instead of quarterly from this point. This change enables a more comprehensive peer review process for submitted articles. It also relieves some considerable pressure from the many staff, students, authors and reviewers involved in publishing eLaw. Speaking of staff, another change to eLaw concerns our Managing Editor. We are very pleased to welcome to the position Dr. Lydia Ralph who was formerly with the University of Queensland . However, we are, at the same time, sad to say goodbye to our founding father, Archie Zariski. The Murdoch University eLaw Journal was one of the first electronic law journals in the world. We owe a great deal to Archie for this honour. Hopefully, our continued work in electronic publishing of law in some way pays homage to his foresight and application. We hope you enjoy this and all other editions of eLaw. We are always happy to hear from our readers, so if you have any comments, please let us know. We are also very happy to hear from authors who submit or wish to submit their articles to us for publication. Indeed to these authors we are indebted. To conclude, we paraphrase some words with which we know Archie Zariski identified.
