The first lots were sold last autumn; and in spite of wintry weather the town has grown rap- idly, until now it is quite a place, with two newspapers and various adjuncts of civilization. It is the prospective terminus of the Redfield and Fairbank extension of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, and is adnirably situated for future growth. With the opelling of spring a grand rush of immigration is expected in this part of Dakota, and Fairbank lot-owners will re- joice accordingly. 1. W.
