It gives a list of candidates for open positions among officers and directors. This year, under the new By-laws, Don Crandall automatically assumes the position of President, and Janice Bentley remains on the Board for her second year as director. A new rule requires that each position as director which opens up be contested. Thus, there are two names for director,.but only one should be chosen. The ballot, which will be sent out about April 1, 1976 will also provide space for write-in votes. By decision of the Executive Board only those who have paid their dues before the ballots are sent to the printer (pending their April 1, 1976 mailing) will be eligible to vote. The names placed in nomination are: President-Elect: Sandra Traicoff (DePaul University) Treasurer: Jane Gaddis (Lord, Bissell & Brook) Secretary: Denise Mahaney (Vedder, Price, Kaufman & Kammholz) Board Member: Jane Strable (University of Chicago) or Diane WitkowsFT (Schiff, Hardin & Waite) Members of the Nominating Committee were: Frank Lukes, Chairperson Anna Baker Frank DiCanio Dorothy Barrett Margaret Seline After completion of the ballot, it should be mailed in the enclosed envelope, which is pre-addressed to Virgil Pederson, who is chairperson of the Election Committee. Other members of the Election Committee are Bill Murphy and Leon Liddell. They will tally the votes, and write a report of the results which will be published in the next issue of the Bulletin, which will appear about May 1, 1976. Be sure before mailing that the pre-addressed ballot envelope is stamped. The ballots and the ballot envelopes carry no markings which will in anyway identify the recipient, to insure secret ballot protection.
