SECOND LAW LIBRARY WORKSHOP A SUCCESS The Second Workshop of The Chicago Association of Law Li- braries brought together forty-five (45) law librarians from seven states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, New York,and Wisconsin. In addition, law librarians from Ohio and Washington contributed papers for the Workshop. Comments on the Workshop: Helen A. Snook, Librarian, Detroit Bar Association: We may not solve all administrative problems, but we certainly intend to plow them up a 'reat deal. Betty LeBus, Librarian, Indiana University School of Law: The program of the Workshop covered a wide scope and variety of re- lationships; there was something for everybody. Ernest Turk, Librarian, Chicago-Kent College of Law: This morning's session was both interesting and inspiring. Frank Di Canio, Executive Librarian, The Chicago Law Insti- tute: Several librarians have suggested to me that they would have liked to attend more than one of the concurrent sessions of the first day. Under the present arrangement, we are compelled to select one session and miss the others. In the future, would it be possible to add one more day to the Workshop so that all of us might attend all sessions? William R. Roalfe, Librarian, Northwestern University Law Library, and Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Second Work- shop: Miss Benyon and her associates at the University of Chicago deserve much credit for their major contribution to the Workshop. Jean Ashman, Librarian, Railroad Retirement Board Library, and President of The Chicago Association of Law Libraries: We are greatly indebted to all of the speakers and to all who have contri- buted to the success of the Second Workshop. We hope that you who have attended the Workshop have found it a rewarding experience. STEERING COMMITTEE OF WORKSHOP The Steering Committee of the Workshop of The Chicago Asso- ciation of Law Libraries consisted of the following members: William R. Roalfe, Chairman; Elizabeth V. Benyon, Frank Di Canio, and Kurt Schwerin. PROCEEDINGS OF THE SECOND WORKSHOP The cost of the Proceedings of the Second Workshop has been set by the Executive Committee at $l.00 for Association members and Registrants who attended the Workshop, and $2.00 for all others. The Proceedings are now being prepared and will be ready for deliv- ery in five or six weeks.
