Palabras clave: Reconocimiento incidental, cosa juzgada. Abstract: A judgment of the Supreme Court considers a foreign judgment on divorce as a public document, and decisions of Provincial Appeal Courts do not take into account such a foreign decision unless exequatur has been previously obtained. The author proposes to make use of the legal figure of incidental recognition in the ongoing proceedings, without the need for a previous exequatur. Key Words: Incidental recognition, res iudicata.
