to say that the Governor of the Bahamasjhad replied to
our query as to the identity of the American who
allegedly paid Manuel RAY's fin in Nassau (see TIME
of 12 June 1964, page 48). TLH vernorJ stated that
he saw no such figure and to e bestz his knowledge
there was no such person. The(Governo also stated
that he was discreetly checking as to WEom Manuel RAY
called in Miami from Nassau. The(British will let us
