Kennedy. he believe that this could refer either to Pedro DIA Lanz, or nis brother 11larcos DIAZ Lan:, formerly Chief and Deputy Chief, respectively. of the Ciiban Revolutionary Air FL'*ce. Both entered the U3.S. from Cuba as exiles in mid-i959. Since thac time the DIAZ Lanz brothers reportedly have been closely associated with, and involved in numerouI activitiec with, Frank S1TURGIS (aka FIOij 11 cf I sic Agency assisted in the evacuation of Tharcos, and eedro entered the U.S. on his own. Although both were debriefed by the Agency, there is no indication that they were ever considered Agency assets. 2_.
