patent any car truck except one wherein the projection
from the bolster consists of a single element through

which the shear stresses are imparted to the respective
rubber elements ; and further disclaims from the scope
of claim 11 of said patent any car truck except one
wherein the cushioning of movements of the bolster
member in directions at right angles to each other is
accomplished primarily by the absorption of energy from
said bolster movements by the rubber means.
