International Convention-Adhesion
Tanganyika
This Office has been notified by the Secretary of State
of the receipt of a notice from the Minister of Switzer-
land that the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland has adhered, for the Territory of
Tanganyika, to the International Convention for the
Protection of Industrial Property, as revised at The
Hague on November 6, 1925, the adhesion to take effect
on January 1, 1938.

Robert W. Edens and Omer E. Brubaker, their assigns or
legal representatives, take notice:

satisfactory service upon said Edens and Brubaker, notice
is hereby given that unless said Edens and Brubaker,

pearance therein within thirty days from the first publi-
cation of this order the interference will be proceeded
with as in case of default. This notice will be published

Charles D. Fox, his assigns or legal representatives, take
notice:
A cancellation proceeding has been instituted by this
Office upon the application of Modern Merchandising
Bureau, Inc., 36 West 44th Street, New York, N. Y.,
to effect the cancellation of trade-mark registration of
M. Hirshfield, No. 241,179, dated April 17, 1928. The
assignment records of this Office show a transfer of
title to this registration to Charles D. Fox, New York,
N. Y., who has been substituted for said M. Hirshfleld
to defend the registration concerned.   The notice of
such proceeding sent by registered mail to Charles D.
Fox, at the said address, having been returned by the
post office as undeliverable, notice Is hereby given that
unless Charles D. Fox, his assigns or legal representa-
tives, shall enter an appearance therein within 30 days
from the first publication of this order the cancellation
will be proceeded with as In the case of default. This
notice will be published In the OFFICIAL GAZETTE for
three consecutive weeks.

Whenever a case, which has progressed as far as the
ready calendars, has been settled or dismissed, the attor-
neys therein shall at once notify the assignment com-
missioner of that fact.
EQUITY RULE 52:
A bill in equity shall not be dismissed at the instance
of plaintiff except upon motion.
