U. S. COURT OF CUSTOMS AND PATENT APPEALS-VACATION
PERIOD
It iS ordered that the vacation period of this court, in-
sofar as it affects the postponement by stipulation of the
filing of appellants' and appellees' briefs in customs ap-
peals, as provided in paragraph 3 of Rule XIX, and Insofar
as it affects the postponement of the printing of records
and the filing of appellants' and appellees' briefs in patent
appeals, as provided In paragraph 1 of Rule XXVI and in
paragraphs 3 and 4 of Rule XXVII, shall commence on
the 12th day of June, A. D. 1935.

The heirs, assigns, or legal representatives of Arthur B.
Smith, deceased, take notice:
An interference having been declared by this Office be-
tween the applications for patent of Paul A. Nothstine,
of Box 34, Dayton, Ohio, and Arthur B. Smith c/o S. G.
Krepps, Brownsville, Pa  and a notice of such declaration
sent to said Smith at Ue said address having been re-

turned by the post office with the notation. Deceased
Indorsed thereon, notice is hereby given that unless the
heirs, assigns, or legal representatives of said Smith, de-
ceased, shall enter an appearance therein within 30 days
from the first publication of this order the interferefice
will be proceeded with as in case of default. This notice
will be published in the OFFICIAL GAZETTI for three conse-
cutive weeks.

Ray Motor Company, its assigns or legal representatives,
take notice:
A cancellation proceeding having been instituted by this
Office upon the application of RayDay Piston Corporation
of Detroit. 6656 Walton Avenue, Detroit Mich, to effect
the cancellation of trade-mark registration No. 184 480
issued May 27, 1924, to Ray Motor Company, 1021 Dime
Bank Building, Detroit, Mich., and 434 Bra y Street, De-
troit, Mich., and a notice of such proceeding sent by regis-
tered mail to said Ray Motor Company at each of said
addresses having been returned by the post office as un-
deliverable, notice is hereby given that unless said Ray
Motor Company, Its assigns or legal representatives shall
enter an appearance within 30 days from the first publi-
cation of this order the cancellation will be proceeded
with as in case of default. This notice will be published
in the OFFICIAL GAZETTE for three consecutive weeks.
