Notice
The Patent Office is willing to accept in lieu of India
ink drawings plsotogroplss-not photostata-of designs to
textile design applications, provisded such photogruphs are
printed on Bristol board Of the standard size and that the
prints eo made are properly developed, fixed and thoroughly
washed so that they will not fade. The blacks must he
pure black on the prints and the whites pure while. The
middle tones should be Interpreted by sharp dots of intense
black In the ease of shaded color designs, the following
should he the process for making the printa s:
A negative is made on a pnchromatic dry plate through
a suitable filter to bring out the various shades in the
design. From this negative a halftone screen positive is
made by the wet plate process, the ruling of the screen
to be 65 lines per inch. From this positive a negative
is made in film by contact printing in a vacuum frame,
from which negative the finished print on Bristol board
is made.

Michel Hill, his assigns or legal rePresentativcs, take
notfoe:
An interference having been declared by this Office be-
tween the patent granted April 5, 1932, No. 1,852,240,
to Michel Hill, 744 Bush St., San Francisco, Califorlia,
and an application for patent filed by Charles T. Lyons,
Medina, Washington, and a notice of such declaration sent
by registered mail to said Hill at the said address having
been returned by the post office undeliverable, notice is
hereby given that unless said Hill, his assigns or legal
representatives, shall enter an appearance therein within
30 days from the first publication of this order the lter-
ference will be proceeded with as in case of default.
This notice will be published In the OFrICIAL GAZE'E
for three consecutive weeks,

fives, take notice:
A cancellation proceeding having been instituted by
this Office upon the application of The Simonis Company,
2101 Indiana Avenue, Chicago, Ill., to effect the cancella-
tion of the trade-mark registration of The Duo-1z Products
Corp., of 20 East Jackson Boulevard Chicago Ill., No.
247 602, dated October 2, 1928, and the notice oi such pro-
ceedng sent by registered mail to the said The Duo-Is
Products Corp. at the said address having been returned
by the post-office as undeliverable, notice is hereby given
that unless said The Do-lz Products Corp., its assigns or
legal representatives, shall enter an appearance therein
within thirty days from the first publication of this order
the cancellation will be proceeded with as in case of de-
fault.  This notice will be published in the OrFICIAL
GAZETTE for three consecutive weeks.

Suggestion for the Use of Coupons
The execution of orders for printed copies of U. S.
patents, trade-marks, etc., will be considerably expedited
if coupons are used, Such coupons may be purchased at
the Patent Office in lot, of 20 at $2.00 and 100 at ;10.00.
Conpon orders do not have to be accompanied by let-
ters of transmittal. They require nothing but the iling
in of the patent number, the name of the inventor, the
date of issue, and the name and address of the party
desiring the service.
