Notice Regarding Payment of Fees
All fees must be paid in advance. Payment of money
required for Office fees must be made in specie, Treasury
notes, national-bank notes, post-office money orders, or
certified checks. Money orders and checks must be made
payable to the Commissioner of Patents. Money sent
by mail to the Patent Office will be at the risk of the
sender. (See Rule 194.)
Certified checks, bank drafts, express and foreign money
orders must be immediately negotiable in this country and
for the full amount of the fee required by the Patent
Office. No allowance can be made by this Office for any
charge for their collection or exchange. Postage stamps
will not be accepted. Failure to comply with the above
Instructions will cause delay.
Adverse Decisions in Interference
In interferences involving the indicated claims of the
following patents final decisions have been rendered that
the respective patentees were not the first inventors with
respect to the claims listed:

Pat. 1,668,269, S. B. Faison, Shingle, slate, and tile
roofs, decided May 27, 1931, claim 1.
Pat. 1,672,067, P. F. Labre, Grounding receptacle and

tives, take notice:
A cancellation proceeding having been Instituted by this
Office upon the application of the United Drug Company,
Greenleaf, Leon, and Forsyth Streets, Boston, Mass., to
effect the cancellation of the trade-mark registration of
The National Gum Co., Inc., of 44 Spring Street, Newark,
N. J., No. 220,985, dated November 23, 1926, and the
notice of such proceeding sent by registered mail to the
said The National Gum Co., Inc., at the said address hav-
ing been returned by the post-office as undeliverable, notice
is hereby given that unless said The National Gum Co.,
Inc., its assigns or legal representatives, shall enter an ap-
pearance therein within 30 days from the first publica-
tion of this order the cancellation will be proceeded with
as in case of default. This notice will be published in
the OFFICIAL GAZETTE for three consecutive weeks.

pany, of Cleveland, Ohio, to effect the cancellation of the
trade-mark registration of the American Pozzolana Com.
pany, of 210 Penway Building, Indianapolis, Ind., No.
130,612, dated May 4, 1920, and the notice of such pro-
ceeding sent by registered mail to the said American
Pozzolana Company at the said address having been re-
turned by the post-office as undeliverable, notice is hereby
given that unless said American Pozzolana Company, its
assigns or legal representatives, shall enter an appearance
therein within 30 days from the first publication of this
order the cancellation will be proceeded with as in case of
default. This notice will be published in the OFFICIAL
GAZETTE for three consecutive weeks.
