The price of the Official Gazette has been advanced,
beginning March 1, 1927, to $10.00 a year, which will not
include the Annual Index.
The Index hereafter will be published in two parts-one
on patents, price $1.00, and the other on trade-marks,
price 50 cents.

GAS PRODUCER. Patent dated February 9, 1926. Dis-
claimer filed March 21, 1927, by the assignee, The
Wcllman-Seaver-Morgan Company.
Hereby enters this disclaimer to those portions of the
claims attached to said specification which are in the
following words, to wit:
22. In a gas producer, a producer body, an ash pan
at the bottom thereof, said producer body and pan being
relatively rotatable, and the pan having a central por-
tion through which a blast is adapted to be delivered,
the pan and body being supported substantially coaxially
but wholly Independently of each other.
24. In a gas producer, a producer body, an ash pan
beneath the same, the ash pan and producer body being
relatively rotatable, and the pan having a hollow central
portion through which a blast may be delivered, a blast
delivery hood in the lower part of the producer body, and
supporting means extending from the hood into the cen-
tral part of the pan.
ADVERSE DECISIONS IN INTERFERENCE.
In interferences involving the indicated claims of
the following patents final decisions have been
rendered that the respective patentees were not the
first inventors with respect to the claims listed:
Pat. 1,491,991, Lacy and Karlson, Beverage mixer
.,and heater, decided January 4, 1927, claim 12.
Pat. 1,529,631, W. H. Lieber, Hydraulic machine,
decided February 26, 1927, claims 1, 12, and 13.
Pat. 1,575,558, Einstein, Nenninger, and Archea,
Centerless grinding machine, decided February 14,
1927, claim 2.
Pat. 1,598,901, H. F. Waite, Automatic regulator
and regulating process for X-ray systems, decided
February 26, 1927, claim 3.

NOTICE-CHANGES IN PATENT OFFICE FEES-EFFECTIVE APRIL 14, 1927.
The act of Congress approved February 14, 1927, amends section 4934,
Revised Statutes, so as to provide (except in design cases) a fee on filing each
original application for a patent of $20 and of $1 for each          claim  in
excess of twenty, and on issuing each original patent, of $20 and of $1 for
each claim in excess of twenty.
The new rates are effective in connection with all applications filed on or
after April 14, 1927, and all final fees paid on or after that date.
In every case which contains more than twenty claims, the payment after
April 13. 1927, of a final fee of $20, or less than $20 plus $1 for each claim in
excess of twenty, will not save the case from forfeiture.
