Hereby enters this disclaimer and disclaims:
(a) From the scope of said claims 1 and 4 of said
Letters Patent, in the process of producing vulcanized
rubber and the new article of manufacture, vulcanized
rubber, therein set forth, the use of ammonia, dimenthyl-
amin, and diethylamin, which are substances set forth in
U. S. Patents 1,081,613 and 1,081,614. referred to in
lines 11 to 17 of page 1 of the specification of said Patent
No. 1,149,580.
(b) From the scope of said claims 1 and 4 of said
Letters Patent, in the process of producing vulcanized
rubber and the new article of manufacture, vulcanized
rubber, therein set forth, the use of methylene bases as
set forth in U. S. Patent No. 1,126,469, issued on applica-
tion Serial No. 795,505, and U. S. Patent No. 1,130,903,
Issued on application Serial No. 795,506. which are the
applications, referred to in lines 18 to 25 of page 1 of

the specification of said Patent No. 1,149,580, and the use
of para-amino-dimethylanilin as a member of the group
of substances so described as methylene bases in said
Patents Nos. 1,126,149 and 1,130,903 and the applications
therefor.
(c) The word naphthylamin in lines 35 and 8 of
page 1 of the specification of said Letters Patent No.
1,149,580, which should have read naphthylenedlamin.

DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC-CABLE JOINTS. Patent dated

Hereby makes disclaimer of the improvement described
except for electric cables which comprise a line conductor,
insulating wrapping permeated with insulating compound
and a sheath of flexible inelastic metal constituting a
unitary product of manufacture and commerce which is
portable and capable of being drawn through conduits;
and except as to an insulating liquid which Is fluid at
ordinary working temperatures of such cables and in
quantity sufficient to supply at all times the demands
made by the cable in use, and by the joint.

Hereby enter this disclaimer to the said claims of said
Letters Patent which are in the following words, to wit:
7. The combination in a switching system of incoming
lines, outgoing lines, contact sets for said Incoming lines,
contact sets for said outgoing lines, an operating mech-
anism common to said incoming lines, an operating mech-
anism individual to each outgoing line, other operating
mechanisms associated in common with said first and
second mentioned operating mechanisms, the conjoint op-
eration of one of each of said first, second and third
mentioned operating mechanism being effective to actuate
the contact sets of said Incoming and outgoing lines to
establish a connection between one of said incoming and
one of said outgoing lines, said first mentioned operating
mechanism being operable in conjunction with other of
said second and third operating mechanisms to establish
connections between other incoming and outgoing lines
co-existing with the connection already established.
20. The combination in a switching system of Incom-
ing lines, link circuits and outgoing lines, with means for
establishing line-link-line connections comprising a set of
incoming line bars, a set of link bars and a set of out-
going line bars, and means for preventing the simul-
taneous operation of more than one bar of each of said
sets.
21. The combination In a switching system of Incom-
ing lines, link circuits and outgoing lines, with means
under the control of incoming lines for establishing line-
link-line connections comprising a set of incoming line
bars, a set of link bars and a set of outgoing line bars,
and means to prevent interference between simultaneously
calling incoming lines.
