The following certificate received from the clerk of the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia relative to an amendment to the rules of the court as revised Decem- ber 4, 1920, is published for the information of those concerned : It Is ordered that the second paragraph of section 2, rule 22, be amended by inserting the fQllowing after the words Commissioner of Patents : (unless such time for special and sufficient cause be ex- tended by the Commissioner, such time to be definite and fixed) Promulgated December 14, 1923. HENRY W. HODGES, Clerkc. Amendment to the Rules of Practice. (ORDER No. 2,846.) Acting under the provisions of section 483 of the Re- vised Statutes and with the approval of the Secretary of the Interior, the following rules of the Rules of Practice of the United States Patent Office are amended as follows: Rule 191, lines 24 and 25, cancel- Size 10 by 15 inches, per copy -------------25 Size 8 by 121 inches, per copy ------------- and substitute- Size 8 by 13 inches, per copy --------------.20 Size 6 by 9 inches, per copy --------------.15 This becomes effective January 1, 1924. On and after January 1, 1924, photostatic copies of manuscript applications and file wrapper and contents. and records of assignments, will be furnished on prints 8x13 Inches, for which a charge of twenty cents per sheet will be made. This will produce a print approxi- mately full size of the original, and hence as legible as the original. Trade-Marks. The trade-mark searching facilities open to the public at Room 159 in the Patent Office have been augmented by installing trade-marks published under the act of 1905, but not yet placed upon the register. These are arranged in accordance with the arrangement of words and symbols of registered marks, as well as by classes.
