Suggestion for Use of Coupons.
The execution of orders for printed copies of U. S.
patents, etc., will be considerably expedited if coupons are
used. Such coupons may be purchased at the Patent Office
in lots of 20 at $2.00 and 100 at $10.00.
Coupon orders do not have to be accompanied by let-
ters of transmittal. They require nothing but the filling
in of the patent number, the name of the inventor, the
date of issue, and the name and address of the party
desiring the service.

offices in the city of Washington are requested to fur-
nish the Chief Clerk with the names and addresses of
their Washington correspondents with whom the Office
may communicate in emergencies. Such notice of course
can not obviate filing associate powers of attorneys in
every case when the associate Is authorized to act.
