the International Convention for the Protection
of Industrial Property.

The following communication, referred to this Office
by the Secretary of the Interior, is published for the in-
formation of those concerned.

LEGATION OF SWITZERLAND,
Washington, D. C., June 16, 1922.
Mr. Secretary of State:
On my Government's request, I have the honor to in-
form Your Excellency that by note dated May 12, 1922,
the Legation of Luxemburg at Berne notified the Swiss
Federal Council that the Government of the Grand Duchy
of Luxemburg decided to adhere to the International
Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property re-
vised at Brussels on December 14, 1900. and at Washing-
ton, June 2, 1911, with its final protocol.  (See article
18 of the Convention.)
In compliance with article 16, paragraph 3, of the Con-
vention of Union of Paris as revised, that adhesion will
take effect one month after the issuing of this notice,
that is to say, on and after June 30, 1922.

Conn and Moran, their assigns or legal representatives,
take notice:
An interference having been declared by this Office be-
tween the application of Conn and Moran, of 3241 South
Hill Street, Los Angeles, Calif., and an application of
Pasquale Beneduce, of 320 Monroe Street, Iloboken, N. J.,
for patent, and the Office having failed to secure proof
of service upon Conn and loran at their address of
record, or upon Pottenger and Pottenger, of 427 Western
Mutual Life Building. Los Angeles, Calif., the parties
who filed said Conn and Moran's application, notice is
hereby given that unless Conn and Moran, their assigns
or legal representatives, shall enter an appearance therein
within thirty days from the first publicntion of this order
the interference will he proceeded with as In case of
default.

for three consecutive weeks.

New York, N. T., and a notice of such declaration sent
by registered mail to said William 11. Starbuck at the said
address having been returned by the post office undeliver-
able, notice is hereby given that unless said William H.
Starbuck, his assigns or legal representatives, shall enter
an appearance therein within thirty days from the first
