All Interference having been declared by this Office be-
tween the application of the Massasoit Manufacturing
Company, 136 Pocasset Street, Fall .iver, Mass., for reg-
istration of a trade-mark and trade-mark registered Au-
gust 8, 1911, No. 83,004, to the Parker Supply Co., 250
Devonshire Street, Boston, Mass., and because of prima
facie evidence In the record to the effect that the Parker
Supply Co. is no longer in existence notice is hereby given
that unless said the Parker Supply Co., its assigns or legal
representatives, shall enter an appearance therein within
thirty days from the first publication of this order the
interference will be proceeded with as in case of default.
This notice will be published in the OFFICIAL GAZETTE
for three consecutive weeks.

Adverse Decisions in Interference.
PATENT No. 1,358,399.
On December 1, 1921, a decision was rendered that
li-nry J. Sommer and Jacobl Iteigh were not the first in-
ntors of the subject-matter covered by claim 1 of their
Patent No. 1,358,399, subject,  Alop holder. and n , a-
peal having been taken within the tine allowed suedI de-
cIsion has become final.

Disclaimer.
1,19,885.-Arthur F. Poole, Chicago, Ill. CALCULATING
MACHINE. Patent dated September 5, 1916. Dis-
claimer filed December 23, 1921, by the patentee and
the assignee, by mesne assignments, Remington Ac-
counting Machine Corporotion.
rHereby jointly and severally enter this disclaimer to
that part of the claim in said specification which Is
recited in the 1st, 5th, 7th, 8th, and 11th paragraphs of
claims and. which is in the following words, to wit:
 1. In a calculating machine, the combination with a
casing having a sight opening, of calculating mechanism
therein including a series of operatively associated wheels
having numerals disposed around their edge portions, the
zero position of each of said wheels being marked by a
spot of color strikingly contrasted with the remainder of
the edge portion of the wheel, and said spots being adapt-
ed to aline before said sight opening to present an ap-
proximately continuous streak of color indicative of the
complete restoration of the calculator to a zero condition.
 5. In a totalizer, a plurality of number wheels, having
the digit positions one color and the zero positions a dif-
ferent color.
7. In a calculating machine, the combination with a
casing having a continuous sight opening, of calculating
mechanism therein iicluding a series of operatively asso-
ciated wheels having numerals disposed around their edge
portions adapted to be displayed through said opening, the
zero position of each of said wheels being marked by a
spot of color strikingly contrasted with the remainder of
the edge portion of the wheel, and said spots being adapted
to aline and substantially fill the space described by the
margin of said sight opening and present an approximately
unbroken block of color indicative of the complete restora-
tion of the calculator to a zero condition.
 8. In a totalizer, a plurality of number wheels, having
digit positions exhibiting one color and a zero position
exhibiting a different color.
- 11. In a calculating machine, the combination with
a casing having a sIght opening, of calculating mechanism
therein including a series of operatively associated like
calculating elements each having numerals and zero posi-
tions on the edge portions thereof, the zero position of
each of said elements being strikingly contrast-td in color
with the remaining numeral hearing part thereof, altd said
colored zero Positions being adapted to alin beforo .ald
sight opening to present a combined uniform   colored
formation indicative of the complte restoration of tile
calculator to a zero position and the breakin  of which
uniformity warns the operator that numbers are in the
machine.

When an application for a design patent is found allowable, the patent will be granted for the
term asked in the application papers unless specific request has been made for notice prior to
allowance so that the term may be extended. Hereafter the Office will delay allowance
and notify the applicant ONLY in cases where a specific request is filed.
