Adverse Decisions in Interference.
PATENT No. 1,287,530.
On September 27, 1021 a decision was rendered that
Johann Heinrich Herman 'Voss was not the first Inventor

of the subject-matter covered by claims 8, 9. and 10 of his
Patent No. 1,287,530, subject,  High-speed valves, and
no appeal having been taken within the time allowed
such decision has become final.
PATENT No. 1,267,844.
On September 28, 1921, a decision was rendered that
Percy D. Brewster was not the first inventor of the sub-
ject-matter covered by claims 2, 5, and 11 of his Patent
No. 1,267,844, subject, Apparatus for printing cinemato-
graphic films, and no appeal having been taken within
the time allowed such decision has become final.
PATENT No. 1,366,474.
On September 28, 1921, a decision was rendered that
Franco Mers was not the first inventor of the subject-
matter covered by claims 1 and 2 of his Patent No.
1,366,474, subject,  Crystallizing-receptacle, and no ap-
peal having been taken within the time allowed such de-
cision has become final.
Interference Notice.
DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR.
UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE,
Washington, D. C., October 31, 1921.
Golden Laxative Coffee Co., its assigns or legal representa-
tives, take notice:
An interference having been declared by this Office be-
tween the applications of Goode & Dunkie, 19 and 21 Pike
street, Covington, Ky., and Charles I. Cook, 501 Main
street, Menominee, Mich., for registrations of trade-marks
and trade-mark registered March 8, 1896, No. 27,893, to
Golden Laxative Coffee Co., Ayer, Mass., and a notice of
such declaration sent by registered mall to said Golden
Laxative Coffee Co. at the said address having been re-
turned by the post-office undeliverable, notice is hereby
given that unless said Golden Laxative Coffee Co., its
assigns or legal representatives, shall enter an appearance
therein within thirty days from the first publication of
this order the interference will be proceeded with as in
case of default.
This notice will be published in the OFrIcIAL GAZETTE
for three consecutive weeks.

Disbarred Attorneys.
It is hereby directed that any person who has been dis-
barred from practice before the Patent Office by order of
the Commissioner will be denied access to the files of the
Office, either in his own capacity or as the representative
of fny other person or firm.
Amendment Under Rule 78.
The entry of an amendment under Rule 78 takes much
more time than would Its entry during the regular prose-
cution of the case, since the docket clerk must get the
file from the Issue and Gazette Division, send it to the
Examiner for report, submit it to the Commissioner, no-
tify the applicant of the Commissioner's action, and if
the petition is granted return the file to the Examiner
for entry of the amendment.
Attorneys are therefore requested to take all possible
steps to obviate the necessity of the presentation of such
an amendment.
