Hatfleld-Bernhard Co., Inc., its assigns or legal representa-
tives, take notice:
An interference having been declared by this Ofice be-
tween the application of the Sunset Paint Company, 627
South Main street, Los Angeles, Calif., for registration of
a trade-mark and trade-mark registered May 21, 1912, No.
86.590, to the Hatfield-Bernhard Co., Inc., 112 Second
avenue south, Seattle, Wash., and a notice of such declara-
tion sent by registered mail to said Hatfield-Bernbard Co..
Inc., at the said address having been returned by the post-
office undeliverable, notice Is hereby given that unless said
Hatfield-Bernhard Co., Inc., its assigns or legal representa-
tives, shall enter an appearance therein within thirty days
from the first publication of this order the interference will
be proceeded with as In case of default.
This notice will be published in the OFFICIAL GAZETTE
for three consecutive weeks.

An interference having been declared by this Office be-
tween the application of Belding Bros. & Co.. 902 Broad-
way, New York, N. Y., for registration of a trade-mark
and trade-mark registered December 11. 1894, No. 25,626,
to The Willimantic Linen Company, Willimantic, Conn.,
and trade-mark registered November 4. 1884, No. 11,014, to
Marshall & Co., Leeds, England, and a notice of such
declaration sent by registered mail to said Marsball & Co.
at the said address having bedn returned by the post-

office undeliverable, notice is hereby given that unless said
Marshall & Co., its assigns or legal representatives, shall
enter an appearance therein within thirty days from the
first publication of this order the interference will be
proceeded with as in case of default.

Adverse Decisions in Interference.
PATENT No. 1,201,270.
On January 18, 1921, a decision was rendered that Lee
de Forest was not the first inventor of the subject-matter
covered by claims 5 and 6 of his Patent No. 1,201,270,
subject, Oscillating-current generators, and no appeal
having been taken within the time allowed such decision
has become final.
PATENT No. 1,281,952.
On February 24, 1921, a decision was rendered that
Ford W. Harris was not the first inventor of the subject-
matter covered by claims 1 and 4 of his Patent No.
1,281,952, subject, Process and apparatus for dehydrat-
ing emulsions. and no appeal having been taken within
the time allowed such decision has become final.
PATENT NO. 1,309,812.
On March 3, 1921, a decision was rendered that Walter
ProuIx was not the first inventor of the subject-matter
covered by claims 3, 5, 6, and 8 of his Patent No.
1,309,812, subject, Pulling-over machines, and no appeal
having been taken within the time allowed such decision
has become final.
Changes in Classification.

are hereby directed, to take effect immediately :
In class 242, Winding and Reeling, (Division XXI,)
abolish the following subclass, with its definition:

84.2.      Signal.
The patents formerly contained ir this subclass have
been placed in class 43, Fishing, Trapping, and Vermin-
Destroying, subclass 17, Fishing, Signal devices, and
class 242, Winding and Reeling, subclasses 84.1, Reeling
and unreeling, Reels, Fishing-rod type; 84.4, Reeling and
unreeling, Reels, Fishing-rod type, Line-traverser, and
84.5, Reeling and unreeling, Reels, Fishing-rod type,
