between the application of Emillo Delle Fave, of 404 North
State street, Syracuse, N. Y., for registration of a trade-
mark and trade mark registered September 9, 1890, No.
18,428, to Gasper R. Ratto, of Chicago, Ill., and a notice
of such declarntion sent by registered mail to said Gasper
R. Ratto at the said address having been returned by
the post-office undeliverable, notice is hereby given tbat
unless said Gasper R. Itatto, his assigas or legal repre-
sentatives, shall enter an appearance therein within
thirty days from the first publication of this order the
interference will be proceeded with as in case of default.

tween the appilcation of the Peninsular Chemical Company,
corner of Brooklyn avenue and Lafayette Boulevard west,
Detroit, Mich., for registration of a trade-mark and trade-
mark registered May 30, 1893, No. 23,148, to Jesse B.
Pitt, of Kansas City, Mo., and a notice of such declara-
tion sent by registered mail to said Jesse B. Pitt at the
said address having been returned by the post-office unde-
liverable, notice is hereby given that unless said Jesse B.
Pitt, his assigns or legal representatives, shall enter an
appearance therein within thirty days from the first pub

Adverse Dacisions in Interference
PATENT No. 1,105,846.
On February 21, 1919, a decision was rendered that
Morton L. Johnson was not the first inventor of the sub-
ject-matter covered by claims 1 and 2 of his Patent No.
1,105,346, subject,  Telephony, and no appeal having
been taken within the time allowed such decision has
become final,
PATENT No. 1,129,968.
On July 18, 1918, a decision.was rendered that Joseph
H. Englert was not the first Inventor of the subject-
matter covered by claim 1 of his Patent No. 1,129,968,
subject,  Corrugated fastenera. and the appeal to the
Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia not having
been perfected such decision has become final,
PATENT No, 1,248,782.
On February 21, 1919, a decision Was rendered that
Clarence A. Anderson was not the first Inventor of the
subject-matter covered by claims 6 and 7 of his Patent
No. 1,248,782, subject, 'Calling mechanism  for party-
line exchanges, and no appeal having been taken within
the time allowed such decision has become final,
Applicant's Address.
The regulrement of Rule 3 that the post-office address
of the applicant must be stated In the petition, means that
the applicant must give the post-ofce address at which he
customarily receives his wall.
The rule was made In order that the Office In necessary
cases might correspond dlrectly with the applicant an not
through bis attorney. The address of the attoiey with
Instructions to send communications to the applicant itb his
care will not be accepted as a compliance with this rule.
